FAQs
What are the benefits of an early learning center?
Every event or encounter in their lives is a learning opportunity for young children. They learn from everything they see, do, feel, hear, smell, and taste; everyone they interact with; and everywhere they go. According to studies, quality early childhood education in the form of a preschool or child care program offers children, as well as their families and communities, numerous benefits. It has an impact on everything from school performance to long-term social competence.
Some of the major benefits children receive through an early childhood learning program include:
- Improved social skills – The environment of an early learning center allows children to learn key socialization skills like listening, sharing, and taking turns with others.
- Better school performance – Research has shown that children enrolled in an early childhood learning program perform better academically.
- Improved confidence – Child care or preschool programs expose children to positive reinforcement from teachers. This helps them build confidence that they will carry with them throughout their lives.
- Better attention span – Early learning centers often focus on attention spans as part of the learning process. Kids are introduced to new experiences, helping develop concentration.
- Improved learning enthusiasm – Childhood education programs teach children in fun and memorable ways. This helps them develop a love of learning.
What makes Growing Kids different from other child care centers?
At Growing Kids Learning Centers, we are more than just a child care center. Our programs are designed to help children learn and develop skills, grow, and thrive. They aren’t created to keep children busy, but rather to help them prepare for the upcoming years of their lives. Our teachers and staff strive to help each child realize their full potential at every stage of development — intellectually, physically, emotionally, and socially. We use an effective early childhood curriculum that helps ignite opportunities for learning and growth.
