Our Teachers

Growing Kids Learning Center staff requirements exceed the highest state standards for preschool. We use a nationally recognized assessment system to screen and reference check our staff.

Many of our staff have CDA’s, Associate or Bachelor degrees, or are experienced professionals in Early Childhood Education.

All of our new teachers are required to go through an orientation and training during their first week. This includes general health hazards and policies, program goals and objectives, emergency evacuation and procedures, cleaning and sanitizing procedures, licensing rules, developmentally appropriate practices and much more. Every teacher must be trained in pediatric CPR and First Aid.
Teachers have over 30 hours of training in early childhood their first year with Growing Kids. They continue with more than 20 hours a year of ongoing training and attending conferences in early childhood education and development. We always encourage our teachers to continue their formal education. We have staff that have an excellent rapport with young children and are able to provide an educational, safe and caring environment for the children.
