Rainy Day Activities for Preschoolers this Spring

kids drawing and writing

Springtime is the perfect time to get outside and explore the world around us. Unfortunately, the rain sometimes gets in the way of outdoor adventures. At Growing Kids Learning Center, we understand that rainy days can really put a damper on your little one’s day, but there is still plenty of fun to be had inside! We have more than 28 years of experience getting preschoolers excited about indoor activities when the Northern Illinois weather is less than cooperative and to help parents and educators out, we’ve compiled a list of our favorite rainy-day activities that are perfect for preschoolers. Read on to learn more ways to keep those kiddos’ minds active and engaged during a rainy day.
